The death of Jatin Sarkar, a key witness in the Nithari murder trial and father of victim Pinky Sarkar will affect the chances of determining the extent of Moninder Singh Pandher’s involvement in the serial killings. According to Sarkar's wife, Pandher had paid them Rs 5 lakh to keep quiet followin the lodging of a complaint by them with the Ghaziabad police.

Jatin Sarkar, a key witness in the Nithari serial killings has been found dead in West Bengal's Murshidabad district. Maninder Singh Pandher, a businessman, and his servant Surinder Koli have been accused of raping and killing children at Pandher's Noida residence.

New twist to Katara case, witness claims Yadav was in Karnal

In a new development in the Nitish Katara murder case, a defence witness told a New Delhi court that the accused, Vikas Yadav, had visited his place at Karnal in Haryana on the night of the fateful incident. The witnesse also submitted photographs and a CD to substantiate his claim.
