NIIT up 4.5 p.c. on stake sale reports

The share price of NIIT Technologies have surged by over 4.5% to Rs349 on the basis of reports that private equity firms Carlyle Group and TPG Inc. may pick up a stake in the New Delhi- based software company. The NIIT Technologies scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs283 and a low of Rs340 and has recorded volumes of over 4,00,000 shares on NSE.

IFCI rises 7 %

Following reports that that the company has short listed eight bidders for sale of a 26% stake, the share price of IFCI rose by 7percent to touch Rs 99. As per the reports, the bidders include a consortia led by Wilbur Ross and Shinsei Bank. The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs102 and a low of Rs95 and has recorded volumes of over 1,00,00,000 shares on NSE.

ICICI Fin sale options under study

ICICI Bank has received a host of offers for its proposed offer of 5.9 per cent stake in its subsidiary, ICICI Financial Services. The bank aims to raise Rs 2,650 crore from the equity dilution.ICICI Financial Services is valued at Rs 44,600 crore.

ICICI to sell 5.9% in new arm for Rs 2,650 cr

ICICI Bank will issue a 5.9 per cent stake in its proposed subsidiary (the holding company for its non-banking businesses) for Rs 2,650 crore to private investors. This would value the subsidiary at Rs 44,600 crore on a post-issue basis, said the bank in a letter to the National Stock Exchange.
