Despite being omitted for the Test tour of Australia due to injury, paceman S Sreesanth is aiming to be fit for the third Test of the series to be played in Perth.

The standoff between the Aussie players and Sreesanth continued with the Aussie media claiming that the Kerala paceman taunted Andrew Symonds during the fourth ODI at Chandigarh. A report in the 'Sydney Morning Herald' stated that although Sreesanth was not a part of the playing 11, he made remarks after Symonds got out and Australia's 12th man Stuart Clark had to intervene to broker peace.
