Kolkata: The body of a policeman was found on Thursday morning in front of the Tata Motors factory in Singur. The body bore marks of wounds and was found in a ditch near the Durgapur Expressway which runs besides the Tata plant.
Bidhan Chandra Patra, 55, had arrived in Singur only on Wednesday, from Kolkata. He was a sub-inspector at the Enforcement Branch at Bhabani Bhawan.
