Dubai: A 21-year-old girl has approached the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia to help trace her mother who was divorced from her Saudi father and sent back to India on final-exit visa in 1989.

About 1,000 Indians, who entered Saudi Arabia on pilgrim visas and overstayed in the search of jobs, have been deported since Monday.
