MUMBAI: After Jagmohan Mundhra's "Shoot On Sight", thespian Naseeruddin Shah has once again replaced Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in the comic thriller "Maharathi", a film inspired by a hit Gujarati play starring Paresh Rawal.

Veteran Indian film stars, Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri have expressed their ire against the term ‘Bollywood’ used to describe the Indian film industry. They were unhappy with the term ‘Bollywood’ as it was perceived to be derogatory and humiliating. Naseeruddin Shah said that the term Bollywood was coined by the western press to mock the Indian film industry, however the name has stuck.
