Authorities in Haiti say the death toll from four storms that ravaged the Caribbean nation this summer has nearly doubled to about 800 people.
Civil Defence Director Maria-Alta Jean Baptiste says 793 bodies have been found so far and authorities are still pulling more from the mud that swamped coastal settlements.
She said on Friday that 466 bodies have been found in the hard-hit town of Gonaive
