Amreli: Congress MP Virji Thummar was arrested today in connection with a case pertaining to violation of code of conduct during Gujarat assembly elections, police said.
Thummar had allegedly made some personal allegations against Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders during the campaign for assembly elections held in Gujarat in December 2007, they said.
