The doctors attending to Kafeel Ahmed - the terror suspect who drove the blazing jeep into the Glasgow airport terminal on June 30 - say that the chances of him surviving are very remote. Ahmed, who sustained 90 per cent burns to his body with third-degree burns over most of his torso and limbs is susceptible to infections and will be unable to fight it.

The Bangalore police which is probing Kafeel Ahmed's role in the UK bombings and the Glasgow airport attack has discovered an Al-Qaeda link through information from a hard disk seized from Kafeel’s computer at his Bangalore residence. The hard disk contains rare speeches of Osama Bin Laden as well as speeches of Laden’s deputy, Aman-Al-Zawahar and other related information.

According to a media report, Kafeel Ahmed, the Indian engineer who allegedly drove a blazing jeep into the Glasgow airport, had left a suicide note at his house. "A suicide note was found at the house near Glasgow where Ahmed had been staying since April," a security source was quoted as saying.

The Indian angle to the failed bombings in the UK recieved a further shot in the arm when the Bangalore police confirmed that Kafeel Ahmed's mother, Dr Zakia Ahmed, has identified her son as the Glasgow bomber. Kafeel’s mother Zakia and sister Sadia, were interrogated by the authorities on Thursday and Friday. Iraqi doc first to be charged in UK terror plot

Bilal Abdulla, an Iraqi doctor,who was a passenger of the explosives-laden jeep, allegedly driven by the Indian Doctor, Kafeel Ahmed into the Glasgow Airport last Saturday, has been charged with "maliciously" conspiring to cause explosions. Abdulla has became the first person to be charged over the botched car bomb attacks on London and Glasgow Airport.
