Dubai: A Taliban military leader threatened to carry out attacks in Paris unless French troops are pulled out of Afghanistan, in a video broadcast Monday on Al-Arabiya television.

An enormous bomb ripped through a police academy bus at Kabul's busiest transportation hub on Sunday, killing at least 35 persons in the deadliest insurgent attack in Afghanistan since the US-led invasion in 2001. The Taliban claimed responsibility.
