A strong earthquake took place in Japan's northwest coast on Monday killing at least nine people and injuring more than 1,000. Nearly 13,000 people crowded evacuation centres amidst fears of mudslides and aftershocks. A group of scientists in Japan have developed a robot that acts like a toddler to better understand child development.
