A senior Syrian official has all but ruled out new visits by UN inspectors probing allegations that his country had a covert program that could be used to make nuclear weapons.

London: As many as 8,000 Bedouin tribesmen in northern Israel claim that they are related to US President-elect Barack Obama by blood. A spokesman for the tribe in Galilee claims that they have proof of their connection with Obama, though he has yet to reveal any documentary evidence. “We knew about it years ago but we were afraid to talk about it because we didn’t want to influence the election,”

DUBAI: Israel appeared headed for polls early next year as leader of Kadima Party Tzipi Livni is set to announce her inability to form a stable coalition government.
The attempt to form a coalition has proved futile mainly because the Kadima and the ultra-religious Shas Party failed to arrive at a compromise. The Shas had demanded a pledge from the Kadima that it would exclude discussions on Jeru
