The Intel chairman Craig Barrett said that India has an excellent oppurtunity to become one of the manufacturing sites of Intel. Barrett added that India’s physical infrastructure did not come in the way of Intel’s investment decisions in the country. Computers have saved muscle and mental power for years, and now Google and Intel have launched an initiative to save electricity as well.
The new plan, called the Climate Savers Computing Initiative, also includes Dell, EDS, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), HP , IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft , PG&E, World Wildlife Fund, and more than 25 other businesses and organizations.
