'IIP grows by 11% during April-June' : CSO

The first quarter figures on industrial production released by Central Statistical Organisation (CSO) reveal that the index of industrial production has risen 11 per cent in the April-June period as against 10.5 per cent in the same period last fiscal. the rise in the index can be attributed to continuing growth in food products, manufacturing and electricity sectors.
