IVR Prime Urban Developers Ltd, the Hyderabad-based real estate company which made its debut on the stock markets today, crashed on account of a global selloff. The shares which were issued at a price of Rs 550, opened at Rs500 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), while at 10:25 a.m., the scrip was at Rs446.80 after being as low as Rs388.

Meghmani Organics Ltd. has listed on the stock exchanges Thursday. On it's first day it opened at Rs 33.25 on the National Stock Exchange, a premium of 75% to the issue price of Rs 19. The low was Rs 26.The IPO was subscribed 23.94 times.

India's initial public offering (IPO) market emerged as the eighth largest in the world, with $7.23 billion (Rs 30,000 crore) in net proceeds through 78 public issues, as against $ 246 billion raised globally in 2006, according to consultancy firm Ernst & Young in its Global IPO report.

The IPO got subscribed 1.04 times on its second day of offer, receiving 18.27 crore bids for 17.5 crore equity shareson offer, latest data available on the stock exchanges shows.
