A 42-year-old builder from Mira Road was shot dead by four assailants late on Tuesday night. Witnesses say a car carrying four passengers hit Zubair Patel’s motorbike near Salasari Garden.
As Patel fell down, the men in the car shot at him. They abandoned the car and fled in an autorickshaw. Bystanders pelted stones at the three-wheeler but could not stop the assailants.
