Manmohan Singh leaves for G8 Summit in Germany

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left for Germany on a three-day visit to attend the G8 Outreach Summit at the Baltic resort of Heiligendamm. The prime minister is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with leaders including US President George W. Bush, Chinese President Hu Jintao and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the chair of the G8 Summit.
