A contestant on the latest series of Britain's Big Brother television show, was shown the door for her racist comments to another contestant. Student Emily Parr, 19, was removed from the house after she was heard saying: "Are you pushing it out, you nigger?" to black contestant Charley Uchea, 21, Channel 4 said in a statement.

A reality television show which sparked a racist bullying row involving Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has come back on air for a new series.But moments before the eighth series of 'Big Brother' got under way on Wednesday, broadcasters Channel 4 were forced to screen details of the 'significant failings' detected by communications watchdog Ofcom over the row.
