In the first instance, a 26-year-old man was killed when a lorry rammed into him at 11:30 am on Tumkur road, Peenya. The victim, G Manjunath, was working as a tailor at a SSI garment factory.
According to police, Manjunath was crossing Tumkur Road when he was hit by a lorry heading for Tumkur. Manjunath died on the spot.
