KOLKATA: The festive mood in Bengal suddenly paled on Friday evening when Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata announced to a packed press conference in Kolkata that he was moving the Nano project out of the state.

The festival season has seen huge banners, cutouts and hoardings mushroom in the city. This has upset some residents in their vicinity. Cut-outs as huge as 30 feet and giant sized banners are depriving many residents of proper ventilation and view from their homes.
Residents of Worli are upset with various banners and hoardings put up in the area by politicians, private companies and developers.
