The Caste Verification Committee has found 14 corporators of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) guilty of submitting bogus (and hence invalid) caste certificates, thus getting corporators from all parties, especially the Shiv Sena, in big trouble. If the axe falls on the Sena corporators, who stand disqualified, the Mayorship of Shubha Raul could be in jeopardy.
