Bengal Chief Minster Buddhadeb Bhattacharejee on Tuesday said he regretted saying justifying Nandigram violence and saying that those opposed to land acquisition in Nandigram have been paid back in the same coin by CPM activists.

Government of India is proposing to raise investment in infrastructure sector to 9 per cent of Gross Domestic Product by 2012 to achieve high growth rate planned during the Eleventh Five Year Plan (2007-2012).

The Government informed Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that it is keeping a watch on a person who is suspected to have used the booming Indian share market for terror funding.
"Recently one case has come to our notice. It is suspected that it may be linked to a person under watch. I cannot divulge further details," Finance Minister P Chidambaram said.
