Following a TV channel expose which purportedly showed a lady school teacher blackmailing school girls after filming them in a compromising position, the agitated parents and locals went on a rampage outside the city school in New Delhi. Two vehicles were set ablaze and other vehicles and public property was damaged by the mob.

US presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton will donate to charity the $23,000 received from a Hong Kong-born fundraiser who is wanted in California for failing to appear for sentencing n a 1991 grand theft charge. The decision was made on Wednesday as other Democrats began distancing themselves from Norman Hsu, whose legal encounters have drawn public scrutiny in the past two days.

Doctors of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) called off their strike on Thursday afternoon as per the order given by the Delhi High Court in view of the patients who suffered due to it.The doctors said the high court had taken suo moto cognisance of their strike and the suffering of the thousands of patients who throng the hospital every day.
