Guruvayoor temple amends dress code for women

The Sree Krishna Temple in Guruvayoor amended its dress code for women, formerly women were allowed entry in the temple only if they wore saris, however as per the new policy, women can enter the shrine wearing the churidar instead of the traditional sari.

Kapoor who commanded the army's largest and most sensitive northern command for two years and has the distinction of obtaining three masters degrees in military science, business administration and political science, will succeed Gen J J Singh when he retires on September 30.

Haneef Mohammed's family can finally heave a sign of relief, as the Australian Federal Police on Friday dropped all charges - including the severe terrorism charge - against the Indian doctor who was detained in connection with the failed UK terror plot.
