Maninder arrest: Cricket community jolted

The arrest of former India cricketer Maninder Singh on Tuesday for possession of cocaine has sent shock waves through the cricket community.The 41-year-old was found in posession of 1.5 gm of cocaine and was taken into custody, along with another person, who was supplying the drug to him.

The BCCI on Wednesday finally managed to rope in a sponsor for India's three-match one day series against South Africa in Ireland and the one off ODI vs Pakistan in Scotland next month.The Pantaloon group will be the official sponsors for the 'Future Cup' as the tournament will be called.
