Noted artist Samir Mondal made three paintings for Aamir Khan for his film Taare Zameen Par, and and did not charge anything. His works normally sell in the range of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 7 lakh depending on the size of the painting. Samir admits that he accepted Aamir’s offer to paint with certain reservations. “I don’t do commissioned work but paint according to my themes.

Panaji: A single-seater sea harrier fighter aircraft of the Indian Navy crashed at Dabolim Airport here but the pilot managed to bail out safely.
The aircraft on a routine sortie crashed at 11.15 am, an initial report said, adding that the crash had forced suspension of operations from the airport till 2 pm.
