Bhagat Singh memorial in Pak

A memorial will be raised at the spot where freedom fighter Bhagat Singh was sent to the gallows in Lahore on March 23, 1923. This announcement was made by World Punjabi Congress President Fakhar Zaman, who said the memorial would come up before the end of the birth centenary celebrations of Bhagat Singh.

Pakistan on Friday observed a countrywide protest against the knighthood awarded to Salman Rushdie by the British government.
