UTV sells Jodhaa Akbar's rights to Reliance Adlabs

If the reports are to be believed, Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa Akbar has fetched co-producer and presenter, UTV Motion Pictures, a whopping Rs 90 crore for the rights.
The magnum opus toplining Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, reportedly cost Rs 50 crore, though Gowariker has gone on record to say that the official budget is Rs 40 crore.

There have been several Ganeshas and Hanumans of late. But Sultan - The Warrior isn't mythological, it's a fantasy adventure. Pure fiction. Also, all the other films have worked with the 2D format. Sultan is India's first full-length 3-D animated film which is as close to reality as you can get in this genre.
