Pakistan army rescues 10,000 cyclone victims

The military in Palistan has moved more than 10,000 victims, affected by the Yemyin cyclone which hit the coastal towns of southern Balochistan province on Thursday to safer places.According to the local media the death toll so far is 113 while the provincial administration has put the number at 27.

Heavy rains take their toll on Mumbai, 5 killed

A minimum of five people were killed in separate incidents in the city due to the heavy rains that lashed the metropolis. While one person was electrocuted, two drowned to death due to flooding, another was killed in a wall collapse.

Heavy rains: Railway services affected

The Central Railway's services were affected on account of incessant rains, which resulted in flooding of railway tracks.According to Railway officials, at least 17 outstation trains from the city, including the inter-city trains, had to be cancelled and many rescheduled. Even the Western Railway faced problems with many trains being cancelled or running behind schedule.

SUV rams Glasgow airport, sparks fears of terror
