India rejected the charge that it is one of the largest emitter of greenhouse gases, instead it accused the developed countries of externalising the problem they had created and trying to pass on the cost of the solution to the developing nations.The Indian UN Ambassador, Nirupam Sen said India with 17 per cent of the population has only 4 per cent of global green house gases.

A CBI raid at the residence of Delhi Assembly canteen-owner and one-time autorickshaw driver Ashok Malhotra, recovered more than 50 cars and 10 motorcycles,all bearing special VIP number plates.
