An Argentinian court in its detailed order turning down the CBI's plea to extradite Bofors -accused Ottavio Quattrocchi has said that the Italian businessman's detention in Argentina may have been illegal.It seems the CBI did not have a valid arrest warrant against Quattrocchi.

Seven members of an alleged "sleeper" al-Qaeda cell, run by an India-born terrorist, were on Friday jailed for up to 26 years for plotting terror attacks that could have killed "thousands" in Britain and America. The "cell" was organised by Dhiren Barot, who was born in India but grew up in Britain and later converted to Islam.

2 Army men killed

Two security force personnel and two militants, believed to be part of a suicide squad, were killed and nine others injured during the past 24 hours in Kashmir.
