Markets open in the red on the basis of global cues

The shares which were issued at a price of Rs 550, opened at Rs500 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), while at 10:25 a.m., the scrip was at Rs446.80 after being as low as Rs388.

Reliance Industries down 5.5%
