According to the Hindustan Times, the internet giant Google plans to take Gmail, it's revolutionary email service offline whereby the users would be able to to browse, reply, save drafts and do everything that can be currently done using Gmail in an offline mode.

IPL not a counter to ICL : Kapil

The former Indian captain and Chairman of the Indian Cricket League (ICL), Kapil Dev denied that the BCCI's recently launched Indian Premier League was a counter to the ICL. The External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee denied reports that the LTTE leader K Padmanathan - who is an accused in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case - has been detained in Thailand. The Indian skipper Rahul Dravid dropped a bombshell by announcing his resignation as the captain of the Indian cricket team. The 33-year old ended his two-year reign as the skipper in order to focus on his batting.
