Smita out of Matoshree?

In 1985, Smita Chitre married Jaidev, Sena supremo Bal Thackeray’s second son, and moved in to Matoshree, the Thackeray residence at Kalanagar, Bandra (E). In the 1990s the couple parted ways, and while Jaidev moved out of the house, Smita continued living there.

The frustration of not being able to find a job forced 32-year-old Bharat Bijlani to commit suicide. At around 10.30 pm last night, Bharat was found hanging from the ceiling fan by his parents at their residence in Sea View Apartments, Versova.
