A group of women in Nagpur attacked a local criminal, Naresh Meshram, who had several criminal cases against his name, with bricks and stones,leaving him severely injured and fighting for his life. The women were fed up of being harassed by Meshram, against whom no action was taken against, inspite of repeated police complaints.

The world's tallest man, Bao Xishun, 56, who is 2.36-metre (7-ft, 9-inch)tall, married a woman who is two-thirds his size and almost half his age in a traditional Mongolian ceremony. Bao was confirmed as the world's tallest living man by Guinness World Records last year.

Marwa Asha, the only woman to be arrested in the terror attack and bombings case in London and Glasgow has been released without any charges, according to the Scotland Yard. Asha, who worked as a laboratory assistant, was among the eight people arrested following the terror attacks.
