Experts’ panel to forecast demand for power

Gnman attacks Missouri church, kills 3

A gunman in a Missouri church opened fire, killing three people and wounding several others, according to a city spokeswoman. The gunman had briefly held 25 to 50 people hostage however he surrendered to authorities after about 10 minutes of negotiation.

ONGC seeks to raise gas price

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) seeks to increase the price of the gas it produces. The chairman and managing director of ONGC, R S Sharma in a letter to petroleum secretary M S Srinivasan, has argued that natural gas prices in India are much lower than international prices. “The cost plus mechanism deters investments and competitiveness,” he said.
