Iran has offered to sell natural gas to India for 25 years as against 30 years to Pakistan. This has led to India asking Iran to revise the draft gas sales purchase agreement (GSPA) making the sale tenure for it same as that for Pakistan.

A special court here on Thursday acquitted former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi's son Amit Jogi in Nationalist Congress Party treasurer Ramavtar Jaggi's murder case of 2003. However, Special Judge B L Tidke, convicted 28 others of various charges and 19 of them were given life imprisonment for conspiracy and killing Jaggi.
